During September, several traffic measures came into effect in connection with the finishing works of the D4 highway. After the laying of the new asphalt layer, two sections and a significant part of a third section can be put into operation before the end of the month, subject to temporary traffic restrictions. For some remaining sections of the D4, Via Salis spokeswoman Daniela Pedret said motorists could prepare for short-term closures affecting the highway's on- and off-ramps and traffic lanes. "Since the traffic restrictions are constantly changing, we ask drivers to carefully follow the temporary traffic signs," the spokesperson emphasized.
